I discover the Ducati bikes in 1997, after having bought my first one, a 916. A revelation, and two years of total happiness and joy.

This bike has been stolen in 1999, so I chose a '95 900 SS carb : very efficient on the road, and more comfortable for the trips with my wife.

And to test myself on the track with my friends, I've bought by the end of 2000 this prototype 926 Protwin : a 916 frame fitted with a 888 big bore SP5 engine. Afetr 2 years and a few trackdays, I sold this bike whose maintenance was really complicated.

Because a road test of a 998 in spring 2002 made me appreciate the fabulous Testastretta engine, and also because the launching of the new 999 will mark the end of the wonderful creation of Massimo Tamburini, I decided to buy a quite unused 998 S.

And by the beginning of 2004, I also bought a charming 1973 350 Desmo Mark 3... but having not enough time to ride it, I sold it 2 years later.

By the end, June 2006, I ordered a Desmosedici RR which has been delivered 22 month later, April 12 2008. This replica of the 2006 MotoGP bike is really amazing!

If you love Ducati, here are some interesting links : the official Ducati factory site, The Ducati Index and The Ducati Website and of course the page of the Ducati Club France. For Ducati enthusiasts I also have to recommend Guilhen Dubourdieu site and Ducatannonces site !
